Duration	Six Months
Eligibility Criteria	Course Commences on 1st January and 1st July Every Year. Education Qualification (1) Pass in 10 with English not less than 40% marks and aggregate above 40% marks. Age Limit 17.5 Years to 21 years Physical Standards Medically fit as per the standards set by M. S. Medical Examination Rules, 2000. Eyesight 6/6 in each eye without visual aids. Normal colour vision. Candidates have to undergo a full eyesight test conducted by the Mercantile Marine Department before being finally selected for the course.
